Don’t let past negative experiences shape your future
Don’t let past negative experiences shape your future |
Don’t let past negative experiences shape your future
The way that we associate and form attachments to the thoughts and experiences that we have encountered in our lives, have an immense effect on the outcomes we create in our futures. It is therefore important to choose out attachments wisely.
Our mind uses the past as a reference point. When we experience a similar situation in the present, we choose our current outcome based on how we felt and the emotions it evoked about it last time – our mind is controlled by our hearts. It is therefore important to be careful that we ‘file’ our emotional responses to everything that happens to us in such a way that it can be used in a positive way later on. By attaching ourselves to an experience or view point, on a subconscious level we are attaching positivity or negativity to the outcomes we create.
Try to consider situations neutrally
Attachments to our past experience can range from nothing to extreme. If your attachment falls at either end of this spectrum, then you have given the experience the power to control you. It will stop you from being the true you. If you are in a challenging situation, the best place to view it is from is a neutral place where you can act, devise a new plan or identify problems, detaching yourself from it and from any judgement in order to find a positive solution. Until we let go of the beliefs and opinions of others, it is impossible to be true to ourselves.
Beware of over-protective subconscious responses
It is natural for anger to result in you declaring that ‘this situation will never happen to me again’. Your subconscious will then step in to protect you, to ensure that you do not suffer as a result of the same experience again – you are in self-preservation mode. It is important to try and find a balance here. Don’t let an over-protective subconscious stop you from living the life you want to lead.
Don’t get stuck in an unhealthy cycle
If you are faced with the same recurring negative situations in life, instead of moaning ‘Why does it always happen to me?’, it is time to deal with the past, close a door on it and create new positive attachments to move forward. Use the past negative experiences as a way to learn; a powerful leasson to move forward and create a whole new direction in your life.
Time to detach
Don’t let past negative experiences haunt you. If you let negative attachments repeatedly rule your life, it will affect your mind, body and spirit. Eventually you will have had enough of living this way and everything will feel out of control or empty. It is time to change.
Only once you take the opportunity to detatch from these negative associations and only allow them to positively affect your present and ultimately your destiny, can you move forward.
Dr Arti Jangra offers a choice of spiritual energy distant meditations that will offer protection and energise your efforts. With mediations including path clearing and cord-cutting, let KismatKarma help you in your journey to detach from past negativity.

KISMATKARMA STEPS TO SUCCESS
KISMATKARMA STEPS TO SUCCESS |
The desire to be successful is something we all share. Of course, each person’s definition of success is different – from being a loving husband or wife, a responsible parent, to achieving fame, power or riches. The road to success often requires a great deal of hard work and sacrifice, and there are often many challenges to be faced. Here are our top tips to achieving success:
We all have a natural talent, a gift we are both with which separates us from others, something that we should go on to share with the world. A natural ability that makes us feel energised and excited when we engage in it. You may be a great leader, carer, artist or sportsperson. The key is discovering that talent and then perfecting it. Concentrate on your strengths and focus all your energies on it. Only then will you receive the success that you deserve.
Walt Disney famously said, “If you can dream it, you can do it”. However, sometimes our daily actions or habits are taking us away from our goals without us even realising it. Even the smallest of habits can impact on your future, helping you either to realise your dreams or stop you from achieving them. Take the time to consider if your current daily habits are helping or hindering you in your quest for future success.
“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motors.

Partial Solar Eclipse - 15th February 2018 Make The Most Of This Powerful New Moon
Partial Solar Eclipse - 15th February 2018 Make The Most Of This Powerful New Moon |
Partial Solar Eclipse - 15th February 2018
Make The Most Of This Powerful New Moon
On Thursday 15th February, a partial solar eclipse new moon will occur. Falling in the air sign of Aquarius, it will bring a hopeful, loving and powerful vibration. Whilst the start of the new calendar year along with the super blood moon with lunar eclipse in January triggered a sense of release, letting go of things from the past and creating space in our lives, we can use this partial solar eclipse new moon as a positive turning point, creating new opportunities and planting seeds for the future.
During a partial solar eclipse, the Earth, Sun and Moon are not perfectly aligned in the way that they are in a full solar eclipse. In a partial eclipse, the moon casts only the outer part of its shadow on the Earth, so it looks like the sun has had a bite taken out of it. Although not full, all eclipses are extremely spiritually and astrologically significant as the moon’s emotional and intuitive qualities override the sun’s more rational and logical qualities.
This partial solar eclipse occurs at 27 degrees Aquarius in the tropical zodiac. It closely aligns with the planet Mercury, bringing the focus of ideas and communication, whilst the influence of the planet Uranus brings freedom and choice for a positive future, particularly for women.
The partial eclipse will predominantly be visible from southern South America, Antarctica, and certain parts of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans from 1:55 pm EST onwards. However, we will feel the effects throughout the world.
Solar eclipses signify new beginnings. A new moon always wipes the slate clean from the previous month, but a solar eclipse (which always occurs on the new moon) intensifies this distinction between the past and the future.
Why not order your Distant Meditation to start at this powerful time? This spiritual energy meditation will both protect you and energise your efforts for clearing your path of obstacles and hurdles. Single meditations last one month and the meditation will start from the first new moon after booking so book your meditation straight away.
Whilst eclipses are undoubtedly a positive cosmic influence, they can also be unsettling and disorientating, especially if they bring sudden changes. You may feel that you are not yourself. You may receive unexpected news– remember this will always bring a positive outcome, even if it is later down the line. The moon is blocking the sun’s rays so you can expect to feel intense, heightened levels of emotions and amplified intuition during this time.
What will it mean to me?
This is the beginning of a new chapter so you need to make the most of it. Now is the time to think about the bigger picture:
It is a time for self-awareness. What do you need in order to feel whole and centred? What changes do you want to make to your life and your behaviour? Listen to your inner voice and change to being more loving and supportive towards yourself. Greet challenges positively and confidently.
This is an optimistic time full of promise, so reassess your goals. Consciously set clear intentions for your future.
Stop worrying about those things you can’t change and break the shackles that have been holding you back.
Focus on how your actions and words affect the world around you.
Consider your relationships: reflect on who you are surrounding yourself with. Put yourself in other people’s shoes with any conflicts that may arise under this energy. Remember whatever the outcome, it will be in your favour.
This is a good time for performing meditation, repeating mantras and for mindfulness.
Remember that the effect of a solar eclipse takes at least a few weeks to settle into place, so be patient and remain open to what the universe has in store for you. We wish you a happy and positive future ahead.
The KismatKarma Spiritual Meditations are designed specifically for your individual needs. Why not order your Distant Meditation to start at this powerful time? This spiritual energy meditation will both protect you and energise your efforts for clearing your path of obstacles and hurdles. Single meditations last one month and the meditation will start from the first new moon after booking so book your meditation straight away.

Maha Shivarati Festival 2018
Maha Shivarati Festival 2018 |
Maha Shivarati Festival 2018
The Hindu festival of Maha Shivarati or The Grand/Great Night of Shiva is celebrated annually in honour of Lord Shiva, one of the deities in the Hindu trinity. This year it falls on Tuesday 13th February, on what is considered to be the darkest night of the year, and is celebrated widely around the world. Unlike most Hindu festivals, this is considered a solemn occasion which can include all-night vigils and prayers, strict fasting, meditation, and introspective focus. It is believed that this is a time for overcoming darkness in your life and in the world, and that showing deep devotion to the most graceful of the deities, Lord Shiva, on this night can absolve you of your sins. The cosmos is said to be filled with divine energy in abundance and Hindus offer prayers to tap into this energy.
Lord Shiva is considered to be formless, shapeless and timeless and is represented by the mystical symbol, the Shiva Linga or Lingam. Legend states that it was on this day that Lord Shiva manifested himself in the form of a Linga and ritual worship of Shiva Lingam is therefore performed to appease Lord Shiva on Maha Shivarati and to bring salvation.
Maha Shivarati celebrates the wedding of Lord Shiva to the Goddess Parvati. Is is considered especially auspicious for women. Married women pray for their husband’s wellbeing whilst unmarried women pray to be blessed with a husband like Lord Shiva.
Maha Shivaratri is a festival of gratitude to Lord Shiva for protecting the world from deadly poison, the legend of Neelkanth. Lord Shiva drank the poison which emerged from the great churning of the ocean by gods and demons, so that the world was not destroyed. He held the poison in his throat, turning blue, so that it didn’t reach his stomach (which represents the universe).
On Maha Shivaratri, various traditional practises and customs are followed by the worshippers of Lord Shiva. The day before the Shrivaratri fast, devotees should only eat once. On the day itself, the devotee takes a bath and makes an oath (Sankalp) to fast until the following morning and worship Shiva all day. Many visit the temple. In the evening, devotees take a second bath before performing Shiva Puja, making offerings to Lord Shiva. For best results, you should pray four times on the night og Maha Shivaratri, offering the following:
Worshipping and making offerings to Lord Shiva on Maha Shivaratri is said to bring specific benefits to the worshipper including attaining a long and satisfactory life. Ablution of Lord Shiva purifies your soul, whilst lighting a lamp is believed to bring knowledge. For those wanting children, milk should be poured on Shiva Lingam at this time. Offerings of honey, ghee and sugarcane is believed to bring wealth, whilst offering darbha mixed with water can rid you of diseases. Vehicles should be purchased on this day after bathing Lord Shiva in curd.
From all at KismatKarma, we wish you a happy and blessed Maha Shivratri. This really is a good time to improve your spirituality whilst the cosmos is replete with divine energy. Choose a blessings token and we can focus on an area in your life where you need a little extra blessings:

What is the Third Eye and how can I activate it?
What is the Third Eye and how can I activate it? |
What is the Third Eye and how can I activate it?
Spiritual texts often refer to a third or ‘all-seeing eye’. This is the name that has been attributed to the pineal gland – a pine cone shaped gland found in the middle of our brains which forms part of the endocrine system. Whilst scientifically, it is known for its production of the hormone melatonin which regulates sleep patterns and also for protecting our bodies against damaging free radicals, it is also believed to act as a link between the spiritual and physical worlds - an inner portal, if you like, connecting us with dream and spiritual planes. The pineal gland is the sixth of the seven chakras in our bodies – Ajna – which is associated with spiritual wisdom and perception of non-physical reality. Activating your pineal gland therefore helps the sixth chakra to reach its potential, which includes clairvoyance, psychic abilities, imagination, and dreaming. Philosopher Descartes referred to the pineal gland as ‘the seat of the soul’.
Although pine cone shaped, if the pineal gland were to be cut open, it resembles an eye and in fact the inner wall contains rods and cones similar to those in the retina. The pineal even has the same wiring to the brain’s visual cortex. It really does appear to be the ‘third eye’.
Sadly today the pineal gland in most adults is not activated due to electronic pollution and the amount of fluoride we consume. It is however possible to decalcify and activate your pineal gland following the steps below, allowing you to open your ‘third eye’ and see beyond the physical world, strengthening your psychic ability.
The main problem is the calcification of the pineal gland. It’s water-filled interior calcifies with age and as result of our modern lifestyles, causing it to deteriorate. Here is what you can do:
Fluoride
Fluoride is the number one enemy of the pineal gland. Naturally occurring fluoride in small amounts is okay but the excessive consumption of synthetic fluoride through drinking tap water, through our pores whilst showering and in our toothpastes, which accumulates in our pineal gland and causes calcification, is very damaging indeed. However, you can reduce this by getting a water filtration system which removes fluoride from your tap water, reducing time spent in the shower or bath, buying fluoride-free toothpaste and refusing fluoride treatments at the dentist. Iodine can also help the body to remove fluoride - organic kelp is high in natural iodine.
Diet
Lose the highly processed foods with additives, preservatives, chemicals and pesticides, including processed meats and fizzy drinks and opt for organic, raw, plant-based foods. Supplement your diet with raw cacao, chlorophyll rich foods, organic apple cider vinegar and oregano oil and neem extract.
Pure Air
Purify the air in your home with an air purifier.
Ensure complete darkness
The pineal gland needs total darkness in order to emit melatonin which produces serotonin – chemicals essential to psychic awareness. Remove all electrical devices from your bedroom. Anything that emits light – even a small light on an alarm clock or mobile phone – will disrupt melatonin production.
Spiritual Practise
This is key to activating your ‘all-seeing eye’ and seeing beyond the physical world. This could include meditation, kundalini yoga, chanting, Tai Chi and Qigong.
Simply using breathing techniques whilst resting your attention and placing awareness on your third eye between your eyebrows can stimulate your pineal gland. As well darkness, light is one of the stimulators for the pineal gland so you can do a mediation that includes a beam of light.
As with most things in life, practise is the key. The more you develop or activate your pineal gland, the healthier and more functional your pineal gland becomes.

A SPIRITUAL INSIGHT INTO GRIEF
A SPIRITUAL INSIGHT INTO GRIEF |
A SPIRITUAL INSIGHT INTO GRIEF
There is no doubt that the emotion of loss – whether it be grief at the loss of a loved one, relationship or career – is one of the most difficult of human experiences. The feeling of emptiness that you are left with can feel all-consuming and almost impossible to find a light at the end of that tunnel. However, there is a way to do this if you can embrace this feeling of emptiness and face the centre of the pain head on, acknowledging that through the other side lies amazing new opportunities.
Of course, this grief should be honoured – you have lost an external person or thing that has helped fulfil something in you. You should cry. Your grief should never be ignored. But the difference is what you do with this pain. Rather than become a victim of it, you need to express it and become at one with it. Only then can you create a new narrative in your life and unleash the full potential of your soul, breaking down and using the energy from the past manifestation for the future. Be aware that you cannot directly replace what you have lost but you have been given the opportunity to give value and meaning to the pain you have been experiencing by giving yourself fully to your new chapter – seize it!
Accessing your inner wisdom and opening yourself up to this change is challenging at the best of times. Dr Arti offers a range of blessing and prayer tokens, asking the universe to send divine blessings your way. For more information on these services, visit http://www.kismatkarma.com/
